We want you all to have a fun time at Poppy’s Pool but we need to explain the terms and conditions.
By confirming a booking you are adhering and agreeing to the below terms and conditions.
- If you chose to enter the pool with your dog you do this entirely at your own risk.
- We can take a maximum of 4 dogs in the pool and 2 people
- Please be aware of our neighbor’s and park in front of Poppys Pool, Or on the road away from our neighbors bays
- If your dog goes to the toilet on the grassed area near the pool please pick up and take your waste home with you.
- Please ensure that your dog is clean before entering the pool.
- Dogs are to remain on their leads or under complete control around the pool until entering the pool
- Dogs shall not be thrown into the pool but enter via the ramp provided
- Dogs must be fully vaccinated
- Please try to keep a safe distance from other dogs when arriving.
- Please exit using the back door of the building turn left to take you back to the car park.
- If your dog is reactive or nervous please ensure you tell the staff member so we are aware and can help.
- You are consenting for Poppys Pool to publish pictures of your dog on our website and promotional material – please advise a member of staff if you don’t want pictures publishing.
- Please ensure that your dog has emptied their bowels before entering the pool and that dogs have not eaten 2 hrs prior to the swim.
- If dogs foul in the pool (vomit or faeces) there will be a £50 charge due to the pool having to be deep cleaned and the next appointment to yours re-scheduled.
- Please note we are NOT hydro therapists we are not clinically trained so can not offer clinical advise – please see your vet for clinical advice.
- Please ensure your dog is fit and healthy to swim – if in doubt please consult a clinician for advise before swimming.
- No open wounds, stiches and legions in the pool.
- The 30 min slot will consist of a 20 min swim and 5 minutes either side to enter and exit the pool (20 mins as advised by clinical professionals)
- We have the right to cancel/amend your appointment under extreme circumstances
- All bookings will be charged in full if less than 24hrs notice is given.
- Payment must be made at the time of the booking
- Only one person on the ladder at one time – the weight restriction will be visible on the ladder.
- No shoes, jewellery or sharp objects to be worn in the pool.
- We do not provide towels for you or your dog please bring your own towels.
- There will be a hairdryer available for a quick dry of your dog or yourself but we cannot be held responsible for any injury when using this.
- To enter the pool with your dog you must be able to swim unaided the deepest depth of the pool will be 1.3m so please ensure that you can stand up. – entry is at own risk
- Please wear appropriate clothing if entering the pool i.e shorts and t-shirts
- Under 14’s cannot enter the pool with their dog without an adult present in the pool. 15-17 year olds can enter the pool alone with an adult spectating– but entry is at own risk
- We ensure that our premises are safe, secure, clean and tidy but we cannot be held responsible for any loss, damage or injury while on our premises.
- Please take care when walking around there maybe water on the floor causing a slip hazard – please wear sensible footwear.
